Hydrotherm is a luxury massage that takes place on heated water cushions without the need of lying face down. This can be particulary useful for elderly clients who have limited mobility or during pregnancy. 

 

The Hydotherm system was invented by John Holman who is a very well known and respected massage therapist. He initially invented this system to help eleviate the pressures of the therapists wrist and back whilst working. Hydrotherm is an entirely new way of experiencing massage. It takes place on 2 heated water cushions that are kept around 37 degrees. This cushions help give the spine support and help aid in postural allignment without having the discomfort of lying face down. This massage can be adapted from a light relaxing massage to deep tissue and corrective work and the heat allows the muscles to relax allowing the therapist to get in deeper.
