At The VIP Clinic, Kingswinford We have many patients which approach us needing Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage Post Cosmetic surgery. We have patients that not only travel from all over the West Midlands but also Staffordshire and Worcestershire. We have many Patients which have had BBL, Vaso liposuction, Liposuction, Tummy Tucks and Breast Augmentations to name a few. Your Surgeon often will recommend you have Lymphatic Drainage massages after your procedures to help with the healing process and reduce swelling more quickly.
We always recommend trying to get your sessions booked in advance to get the time and avalibility you require as the clinic can get busy. Normally you will require about 3 sessions a week for the first few weeks then these gradually we will reduce to 2 a week / once a week then monthly to 6 months post procedure.
A common question we are asked is how soon after the procedure can we get booked in?
You can book your sessions as soon as you want after your procedure you will be required to lie down on the treatment bed on your back and if patients can't lie face down this can be done on your side. Some patients get booked in for a few days after their procedure and some book for a week after it. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and depends on your pain levels. The average is 5 days - 1 week. Some companies offer the massages as part of your package so ensure you get these in too.

Most procedures can be fit into what we call a '30 minute' slot for example Tummy tuck with liposuction tummy, back and thighs. Again if you have further questions please let us know.
We always give our patients lymphatic exercises to do at home. This also helps to reduce your swelling alongside your treatments.
We have had some fantastic results with our drainage massage with some patients loosing up to 10cm around their abdomen!
